Uncle Sam had points in history where he almost lost his life.. these are call flat lines in america... through the Revolutionary war, Civil war, and many more such as 9-11. We as doctors of M.A.S.H. 58 are to save this dying man and learn what he have been through and see what can we do to prevent this from happening again.

Alexander Hamilton

Alexander Hamilton a man who wasn't a president as many of those who were and made changes... Hamilton showed that it doesn't take a President to chnge the world little by little... Hamilton did so much for this country even thouht he wasn't a president.. Hamilton was a leader of the nationalist calling for a new Constitution, he was one of the first Constitutional lawers, and wrote most of the Federalist papers. Hamilton was a natonalist who emphasized strong central government. during the secret dinner with Jefferson they talked about the plans they hae for the country Hamilton's plan was to pay the Debt of the country with the war that happened was going to be paid with the national bank which got us out from the debt we were in. One thing Hamilton did for New York was Staopping Slavery there makng people come into that state. Hamilton death happen due to a responsibilty he made he stop sueling in New York, however Hamilton was challenge to duel so to show his responsibility he crossed the Hudson River to have this duel where he lost his life. i believe this show that people show be able to listen to the rules!

Thomas Jefferson!

Thomas Jefferson a man of what? He was the third president of the united states and even did more than just being a president. He gave America so much including the purchase of Louisiana which what bought from France and added much more land to the united states. Jefferson was also the principle author of the Declaration Of Independence in 1776 which announced that the Thirteen colonies at the war with Great Britian were now Independent states and no longer part of the British Empire. Therefore earning the 4th of july as the independence day of America.. New York played a big role in Jefferson's life where he had a secret dinner with Hamilton talking about the plans they had, Jefferson's plan was moving the capital to Washington D.C. by doing so he would be in states where slavery was allowed. Looking back at Washington D.C. you know the reason why its there.

Man In The Beaker!

The Man In The Beaker?
In my observation of this experiment were two book at the very bottom and on top of that were four blocks, on top of that was a fire that was lid... the beaker was then held but a beaker holder where it was filled with was a toy figure in the water waiting to be evaporated to free himself from all that pressure it was in.. what can it possibly mean? well in my thoughts of the man in beaker, i believe it means: knowledge(the two book) builds up(four blocks) the heart(the fire), to encourage people to get their knowledge out to the people... and the water meaning the pressure the pressure of people on the person waiting for him to do a mistake...as time goes by the water becomes lower and lower and easier for the person to do what it is needed for the country.

Abraham Lincoln

A fighter or a quiter? I surely say he was a good 16th president of the United States.. what made him so great? Could be everything he done for the North to win the civil war and making the slaves free after 20 stressful year of thier sweat and blood given to this country, after winning the Civil War the Next step was fighting for their rights. He successfully led his country through its greatest internal crises, the american civil war, preserving the Union and ending slavery. Working together With Grant on his side made him amazing. He then introduce results in the abolition of slavery, issuing his Emancipation Proclamation in 1863 and promoting the passage of the Thrirteenth Amendment to the constitution. Wooo what a man!

Black History's Flag.

Black History month's Flag?!? what does it means to you!

As a tradition we would say that the red means blood, blood of the black man's stuggles. black for the black people. and green for the land in america!
In modern time Red would represents the bloods, black for the black panthers, and green for the money. But what would Marcus Garvey say, he would say: red for the sympathy for the reds of the world. black for the negro man. and green for the sympathy for the irish in thier fight for freedom.

The Roaring Twenties

The Roaring Twenties was more than Roar.. Roar! The twenties consisted of many discoveries of African American's talent such as jazz.. It was a time for the jazz age to be discovered and unfolded. Many things happen during the twenties for than fashion such as the flapper where women begining to wear short skirts, and who were living women. It was a time of self expression, through the art of music and talking without words but with music!

who Is This Grant Guy?

Who is this Grant Guy?

Ulysses Simpson Grant worth more than a fifthy dollar bill. This man was a man of great responsiblities who I think was able to put America first than any other event he had. He was a man that you can say that he been through it all. fighting in the spanish American war, which he thought was wrong. After the american civil war he joined Union War effort and taking charge of training new regiments, then in 1862 he fought a series of major battle which then earning a reputation as one of the most agressive general of the war. One major battle that he won was the Civil War. He defeats Robert E. Lee where Lee surrendered to Grants at Appomattox the confederancy collapsed and the civil war ended.
This man didn't look down on anybody, he helped everyone including the Black men. he helped them get jobs and help them get the rights they needed. As president during his time he led reconstruction by signing and enforcing civil rights laws and fight against the KKK. After he finished his terms as president he decided to be buried in New York with his Wife. The people who loved this man deeply helped build his tomb which raise enough money to be put in that tomb.

Not Really A Salad.

Not Really a Salad, look closer.. its America, can you see you see yourself in the Salad?
The salad represents American, and all the ingredients that are added into the salad is all the Races coming together and making the salad(America) taste great! In the salad that daniel made, were many things added in the salad that many people may consider to be nasty if you put it together. Daniel decided to put everything into the salad to represent america however, american wasn't always together. The bowl is the land in which we began to come in as immigrants, taking the land from the native americans. Soon the bowl(america) begins to get fill with more ingredients frm other countries, such as the bring of slaves which started a new generation in america. then as time went by more people from other countries started to come into the country(ingredients) as time went by. recently many hispanics or spanish made a choice to come to america because they feel that they can be part of the salad and make it delicious.
